Well it has been a while since I have been able to update my website, the last 2 years I have been extremely busy looking after my Husband (we got married December 2017) as he has been in and out of hospital . I have continued to choreograph dances and run my classes, this year saw a new additional class - 'Retro Step Back in Time class' teaching all the classic line dances from years gone by, so far it is going great and nice to see the enthusiasm shown by class members. My heart still lies with the classic dances as they were what got me hooked on my love of Line Dancing.
2017 spent most of the year planning my Wedding which took place in Gran Canaria on December 18th at the Villa Del Conde Hotel in Meloneras, it was a magical day with family and friends making the journey to celebrate.
January 2018 I returned back to Blackpool with family and friends for the 22nd Crystal Boot Line Dance awards, I was lucky enough to be nominated for a 3rd time for a Crystal Boot, this time in the Wild Card Category for my Dance - Cowboy Contra Yodel, I didn't win but it was such an honour to be nominated and to take part in the opening show, below is a link to the Nominee's opening dance to open the awards show. It was a fun weekend catching up with friends and dancing non stop.
March 2018 I was asked to help out with the LDF event in Benidorm organised by Andrea Atkinson, friends and family travelled up to Benidorm with me, it was a great event which allowed me to teach a couple of dances, I wrote 'Train Wrecked' for the event and also taught Gary Lafferty's dance 'A Thousand Stars'.
Money raised for the Line Dancing Foundation on the day totalled €476.50
